Is it a keeper or what?

Not sure if I've mentioned it before, but this is the table I am planning for our meals area. It's MrB's mum's, she wanted to throw it out... When I told him I wanted it for our house he ... was not happy to say the least! I explained that I wanted it sanded down and painted ... He has come around I think :) He even offered to sand and spray paint it for me. Yay!!! So, what do you think? Is this little table a keeper or what?

What colour do you think we (I mean MrB) should paint it? Black, white, blue, natural ...?

We will not be having a rug under this table ... Oh and it's not a miniature table, it's just the window that's overly huge :)

It's also got the "extension"..
