Garden plans

What do you think of our backyard concreting? Is the garden bed shape in between the house and detached garage ok as it is? My proportions are a bit off and the concrete strip around the garage and house isn't consistant and 1m everywhere as it should be. I think this might throw out the shape of the little garden bed :(
Will it matter? How crucial is it that everything lines up? Eg, the detached garage concrete strip with the verandah etc?

Which one of the garden beds below would you suggest?
