Lamps. Keep or return?

I picked up our bedside tables yesterday and lamps today. 

When I brought the lamps home I realised the shade is actually off white (kind of yellowish?) and not pure white ... Our walls are Dulux Whisper White and the quilt cover is pure white ... What do you think of them being off white? Are they too small? Keep, or return and keep looking?

Don't you love my throw "styling"? LOL. Please forgive me - I have lots to learn :)

Would these bedside tables work with our bed?

Will white bedside tables suit our dark chocolate/almost black leather bed? Out of all the bedside tables I've seen this is the one I like the most. However, it is not perfect. It is only 39cm tall (our bed is 50cm tall) and only has one drawer... I would really love two drawers instead....

Spending $600 on something you don't love?

So we desperately need bedside tables for our bedroom... And my budget is $600 for both.... But the main issue is I cannot find any bedside tables I love :(
What do I do? Do I wait till (and if ever) I come across ones I love, or do I buy some cheapie ones? The only problem with this is I hate spending money on temporary/cheapie things :(

Living without bedside tables is driving me insane :(

Bedside tables for our bedroom

I am after a pair of bedside tables for our master bedroom to go with our black leather bed. Ideally I would like them to have 2 drawers. What colour and style would you suggest? Would love to hear your suggestions.

Our dark brown, almost black bed is like this one here.

Our current bed linen. White quilt cover, sheets and pillow cases and baige european pillow cases.

I would love to have a smililar nude canvas above our bed one day...
