We don't have a fireplace, and won't be having a tv in the formal lounge room ... Since it is a part of one large open living area, do we still need a focal point in each room?
If so, do you think making the window a focal point would be a crazy idea... especially since I am not planning on having any "out there" prints or fabrics? Or would you recommend something else as a focal point, eg. some art work above the sofa for example?
