Alice Lane Home Collection Celebrates 5 years!

Alice Lane Home Collection has always held a special place in my heart. I had the opportunity to work at Alice Lane when their shop was still less than a year old. My memories of assisting in the store are some of my very favorite memories. I learned so much from Adam and Jessica Bennett including how to take care of customers, how to treat employees, the ins and outs of the design business and mostly how to never stop following your dreams.

Every year that Alice Lane continues to succeed is a celebration for me and today I'm happy to announce that they are celebrating 5 years! And to celebrate they are throwing a fun get-together for anyone that wants to come.

You do not want to miss this event!

To celebrate their 5 years in business I've rounded up some of my very favorite room designs done by the team at Alice Lane.

I love the soft and sweet details they added in this model home

This entry table is so unique and it looks amazing with those baskets underneath.

The Bennett's home tour was unreal. Every last image was amazing.

An Alice Lane nursery is always a magical place.

And who can ever forget one of the most stunning homes I've ever seen...

If you are local in Utah make sure you stop by their shop for the party and if you aren't lucky enough to live close by you can still stop by their blog to get loads of inspiration!

Your Chance to Win a Window Treatment of Your Choice From Windows By Melissa

If you've been reading my blog for awhile you know that I love using Windows by Melissa for projects. She does a great job at roman shades, curtains etc.

I even had her do the roman shade in Jane's Nursery

You have a chance to win a free window treatment of your choice from Windows by Melissa.
She is doing an Ugly Fabric Challenge. Sounds intriguing no?

Here is how you can enter, send Melissa a link to an ugly fabric. She will then do a blog post with the fabric choices and then pick the top 3 ugliest fabric and make window treatments out of them. Then the readers will vote on their favorite window treatments (favorite for whatever reason: ugliest, best looking for the material, etc). The winner will get a free window treatment of their choice, fabric included (not the ugly fabric, but fabric of their choice). And each participant will get a coupon or credit.

Go to her website to get more information on entering!

Jett's Christmas Room & a Giveaway from Land of Nod!

This year I started wondering why more people don't decorate their kid's rooms for Christmas. Christmas is, after all, mostly for kids. I decided it would be fun to decorate Jett's a room a bit this year. Honestly I went a little crazy. It was just so much fun to find ways to make his room festive.

I was able to work with Land of Nod to find some cute products to deck his room out.

Are these gnomes not adorable! I can't get enough of them.

I really love that Land of Nod has some bright garlands as opposed to the typical red and green. The green garland allowed me to pull some of the neon green from his headboard.

My friend Lisa made this adorable snow globe at our handmade gift exchange

I always had my own Christmas Tree in my room growing up and I loved how the sparkly lights lit up when it was all dark in my room. Jett loves his tree.  I'm not sure how we'll ever get it out of his room when Christmas is over. We might have to keep it up all year long!

I just love the idea of having seasonal bedding for the Holidays. The sheets and duvet are both flannel which make them super cozy to sleep in.

Jett is slightly obsessed with his Land of Nod candy cane. Isnt' it too cute!

I also added a little Santa and Sleigh die-cut to his globes.

Alma and Melanie from Caravan Shoppe were nice enough to make some Olliblocks for Jett. He loves them. Mostly he likes to build towers with them and knock them down. Boys....

I also added a little Holiday banner to Jane's room. To see it check out my Facebook page

Land of Nod is the perfect place to find your own Holiday pieces for your home or kids' rooms. And today they are sponsoring a great giveaway on my blog!

To enter this giveaway just leave a comment on this post. Please make sure you leave your email so I can contact you if you win.
Upload an image of some Christmas decorating you've done in your own house to instagram with hashtag #6thstreetjoy and tag @kirstenkrason

This giveaway will end Tuesday, December 18th and a winner will be randomly selected and announced on my Facebook page

Disclosure:  I was given Holiday Decorations for review purposes. This giveaway is sponsored by Land of Nod.

Minted for All Things Baby & Jane's Birth Announcements

Artwork: Highway Wildflowers from this blog post about Jane's room

It's no secret that I love Minted. I've blogged about them many times before.  They are my go to place for all things Baby! They have an amazing selection of children's artwork that would be perfect for any nursery.

Here are a few of my favorites.

Minted recently offered me the chance to review some baby announcements here on my blog. It was pretty hard to choose considering they have tons of great options. I ended up going with the Pure announcements for Jane's.

I love how they turned out.

Here are some of my other favorite announcements.

Make sure you check out Minted for all your baby needs! Right now Minted is offering 10% off + free ground shipping today on all holiday cards using the promotion code CHEERS.
