We are building in an established suburb and the house behind us was sold last year. It has since been knocked down and a new house is being built. The fence between us and them is old and needs replacing. So we requested from the Council their details so we could send them a letter about the replacement... And it turned out that the owner is an Australian soccer player who currently plays for Adelaide United!!!
I have no idea if he will be living there or if he will be renting it out but still thought it was interesting enough to share :)
Anyway, he called us today to let us know that he is happy for us to go ahead and that he would pay for his share of the fence.
