How to make a walk in robe more practical/functional?

I've been designing our walk in robe for quite some time and it is still not finalised. I would love it if you could help me make it more user friendly.

This is my inspiration. I love the colour (white!), glass drawer inserts and drawer handles. YUM!

This is what I've come up with for MY side of the closet. I am not convinced that this is as best it can be arranged/organised and I hope that is something you can help me with. I would also like to make it as user friendly as possible. I will be using the drawers and clothing shelves the most often.

What drawer depth/height would you recommend? What about the shelves?

This is the layout of our master bedroom, walk through closet and ensuite. I am taking the left hand side of the closet and Mr will have the other side :). The bedroom to walk in robe door will open the other way though...
