We are going to Phuket!!!

Last week I booked flights for Phuket, and was offered a new job, on the same day! Very lucky, I know.

Any tips for first timers in Phuket?

We will be there for 7 days in February, which is their peak season, so I can only imagine it will be packed with tourists... We would prefer a quieter area .. Any tips on where to stay?

This is the plan so far:

1. Locate a great tailor to get some clothes made
2. Find a nice hotel for the first 3 nights of our stay...
3. Stay overnight on Phi Phi island on our 4th night.
4. Last three nights have been booked for a resort in Karon Beach.
