Welcome to Monday, my friends! We had a nice relaxing weekend over here, but today I'm tackling a rather terrifying to-do list. You know the kind. The kind that makes you want to forfeit adulthood and sit cross-legged in a blanket fort with a spoon and a pint of ice cream, instead. Yep. That kinda Monday.
I've been meaning to share my second Stitch Fix with you for a couple weeks now, and I'm finally around to it today! You may recall that my first Stitch Fix wasn't terribly impressive, but after feedback to the stylists and a second go round, I am MUCH more pleased! As I suspected, this whole deal is a wee bit addicting. I'm already eagerly awaiting Fix #3. :)
The photo above actually depicts the two items I did NOT keep from my second box. I didn't have time to get good photos of those two on, but I did photograph the three items I kept. The striped shirt with yellow detailing above was cute but I didn't love the shape and fit of it on me, and the striped dress was a little shapeless and unflattering, not to mention a bit too warm for Texas right now. I LOVED and kept the three items below, though, and they make a happy addition to my wardrobe.
this dress is a bit bolder than what I'd normally buy, but I thought it'd be cute to wear to lunch or happy hour with girlfriends or just to wear around the house during the week. It's invigorating and fun!
I like to wear this type of shirt to photo sessions because it's cool but not clingy (i.e. doesn't show how much I'm sweating!), and also long in the back. No one likes to see their photographer's undies when she's crouching to get the shot.
this necklace isn't something I'd normally buy myself, and that's precisely why I kept it. It's cute and statement-y, and I like that.
Have you tried Stitch Fix yet, and have you enjoyed your experience so far? It seems like Fixes will get better and better over time, the more feedback you give. We'll see if this proves true after Fix #3!
